It's been a while since digitalized-manufacturing got a public attention, however, the one in progress rapidly is fundamentally different from the one commonly recognized. So far, the definition of "digitalized-manufacturing" was switching circuits from analog-type to digital-type or manufacturing by machining with NC machine tools. However, the currently-developing digitalization is defined as "ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING" represented by 3D printers, in other words, manufacturing by patterning and layering materials only to areas required.And it is inkjet technology that's making the most advanced progress in this field. In this lecture, based on the latest information, we are going to introduce inkjet technology from basics to printed electronics which is making progress in applied research, and 3D printing field which has been a popular topic lately. Also, we are going to give you the further information from current issues to directions and potentials of development.
